Compañía Nacional de Danza

On July 10th and 11th, we will present the CND CREATORS Project at the Fernando de Rojas Theater of the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. This very special program consists of nine pieces created by dancers from our company.

Born with the intention of providing a space for development for those of our dancers who are interested in choreography, the CND CREATORS Project offers our artists the opportunity to have that "room of their own," as Virginia Wolf said, where they can question the current choreographic act, shape their internal images, and find answers to their creative demands. Ultimately, it is an exciting project through which a group of dancers decides to venture into the realm of performance creation.

CREATORS allows us to emphasize and approach the values ​​inherent to the dance performer—discipline, rigor, and collaboration—from the perspective of the choreographer and director of a work.

Our creators will offer original works performed by our dancers, opening up a space for creative collaboration within the Compañía Nacional de Danza.
