Next stop: Teatro de la Zarzuela with “AIÓN”

 

 

 

 

The CND’s next major engagement will be in Madrid. From October 23 to November 1, 2026, the company will take the stage at Teatro de la Zarzuela to present AIÓN, a new production that explores the concept of time through the body.

AIÓN presents time not as something that moves forward linearly, but as something that remains, transforms, and reappears. The production creates a dialogue between tradition, rupture, and contemporaneity, bringing past, present, and future together on stage.

The programme brings together Paquita by Marius Petipa, Petite Mort by Jiří Kylián, and The Second Detail by William Forsythe. Three choreographic worlds that allow the CND to explore different ways of understanding the body, musicality, precision, and the energy of movement.

Performances will take place from Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and on Sundays at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are already on sale through the official Teatro de la Zarzuela platform.

The 2026/27 season is already underway. Following the excitement experienced in Santander, the CND continues its journey with new repertoires, new stages, and memorable encounters with audiences.
