International Dance Day 2025

This year we celebrate International Dance Day 2025 on April 30th together with the Carlos III University of Madrid, offering a sample of the Creators: Carlos III University/CND project at the Padre Soler Auditorium of the UC3M in Leganés.

For our tribute to dance at DID 2025, CND dancers, coordinated by Ana Catalina Román, Assistant Artistic Director, and UC3M students, led by Alfredo Miralles and Ángel Perabá, will perform a program consisting of five works: “Recreo” by UC3M students; “Boca Loca” by José Alberto Becerra; “Essence” by Francesca Sari; “Se Nos Hace Bola” by Alejandro Polo and Gaizka Morales; and finally, “Ondina” by Cristina Casa.

The event will conclude with a discussion between the audience and artists about the creative processes and lived experience.

The CND Creators project has allowed our dancers, on the one hand, to showcase their creative work to young university students interested in dance, and, on the other, to receive resources from our dancers to create their own choreographic pieces.
