Eugenia Santos González holds a degree in History, specialized in cultural heritage, and has been a career civil servant in the Senior Corps of Museum Conservators of the General State Administration since 2009.

In the field of museum management, she began her career as Head of Section responsible for the Department of Outreach and Communication at the National Museum and Research Centre of Altamira. She later served as Head of the Collections Service and Technical Director of the Army Museum, as well as Head of the Museum Coordination Service within the Sub-Directorate General for Publications and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Defence.

Her professional career has been closely linked to public administration, with experience as Director of the Museum of La Rioja and Head of its Museums and Exhibitions Service, and as a Technical Advisor in the Management Office of the National Institute of Public Administration.

She has combined her professional work with teaching on master’s and postgraduate programmes specialising in legislation applied to artistic heritage.
