Creative Residencies 2026/2027

To promote choreographic creation and encourage experimentation among young artists, the Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) has offered an annual residency program for emerging choreographers and/or companies since 2014.

These creative residencies allow selected companies to develop their choreographic projects, providing applicants with access to rehearsal spaces and other CND facilities.

The eleventh call for applications is opened from September 14 to 27, 2026, according to the following GUIDELINES.

As a new feature, and reflecting our firm commitment to inclusion, in this 11th edition one of the residencies will be dedicated to a creative project developed by teams in which people with and without disabilities participate together, and another to a community dance proposal.
